| There are many messages the gods wish to impart upon us in our daily lives, and our ancestors really want to help us be the best version of ourselves we can be. It is through his interactions with the spiritual realm that the Shaman is capable of bringing these messages to the physical plane of existence for us, as well as teaching us to discover the source within ourselves. With a proud Norse demeanor he is able to relay these messages in ways that we can understand in our every day lives. They describe the gifts given as empathic, clairvoyance, premonition, and even public speaking, puzzle solving and many others. All a plan to help us become harmonious with one another. These gifts can cause issues for many first coming to terms with these abilities, and most misunderstand, as did the Shaman before he came to understand the gifts. We should all seek to help each other to understand their own unique gifts, that we may elevate the human existence.

This week's Rune Readings
|
The reading of the Nordic "Elder Futhark" runes of early Scandinavia requires an intuitive ability unlike "fortune telling". The runes display a connection from the deity by reminding us of our past lessons, as well as those influences of our present. This information is then used to make informed decisions about moving into our future. For this castings, we will use the "four winds" layout which demonstrate that which has, and will influence our trajectory moving forward.

Rune Reading for Freyja's day - 23 May 2025
|
|
|
|
To reveal the influences of our past, we have drawn the rune of Perthro, the rune of prophecy. We all have endured a past with what seemed to be irrelevant information, but would be revealed as a prophecy of things to come. These prophecies, offered by the fates, and the gods, have ensured us that we are on the correct path, even when it may not "feel" entirely accurate. We will be unable to recognize our true path until we arrive at the trailhead that leads away from where we are today. This is the process of "moving" through our trajectory on our chosen paths, we must get ourselves to the trailheads that lead off on a new path. Our present influence is that of Gebo, the rune of graciousness. Today, in our present, we need to not only consider the many different materialistic things, as well as people that the universe has led us to cross paths with, but also the fact that we have had the ability and assistance to move across the many paths on our own. Often, we forget that we have accomplished so many little things that we may have forgotten them, however, the universe has aligned each of the paths to cross when each of the parties involved were ready. Taking time to offer our graciousness to the universe for the path we have led through this lifetime. To further reveal our future influences, we have drawn the rune of Raidho, the rune of origin. Although today Raidho issues us cautions as we move into our future. The rune itself indicates the origin story, our "from" in our lifetime trajectory. We must constantly remind ourselves that we are evolving as we are moving through life. We must not allow ourselves to forego our unknown forward path for the safety of the known past. Ships would never reach a faraway destination without ever losing sight of the land. Do not allow yourself to become a prisoner within your own thoughts, become the master of your own ship and grab the rudder to steer for the deep water beneath the horizon. To understand what influences we should retain, we have drawn the rune, Ehwaz, the rune of trust. Today, Ehwaz reminds us that we must retain the trust we have within ourselves for our self. Do not let the energies of uncertainty and doubt hold you back or steer you off your course. Hold fast. Believe in yourself, but also keep family and friends close at hand, for even the roughest of seas can be tamed when you have these friends and family close at hand. This rune should be a reminder to remain in harmony with our fellow lifeforms on the plane of existence. Harmony breeds peace within the mind. Seek harmony always.

Rune Reading for Thor's Day - 22 May 2025

|
|
|
To reveal the influences of our past, we have drawn the rune of Mannaz, the rune of perfected intellect. The many experiences we have endured within our past have instructed our consciousness in many things we may not even be aware of at this time; however, the lessons have been stored nonetheless. It is through these experiences that our trajectory has laid itself out before us and continued us moving forward on it. These lessons have given us the social order within our mind to embrace the divine structure necessary to grow. Our present influence is that of Berkano, and today, in our present, if offers us cautions. While the lessons of the past have altered the path, we have traveled to arrive here in our present may have been difficult and may attempt to cause us to become reserved and avoid further changes, we must embrace the understandings from our past as lessons necessary to grow in the right manner. While the cautions of Berkano warn us against the energies of conspiracy and deceit, being true to the lessons of the past will continue to move us forward. To further reveal our future influences, we have drawn the rune of Hagalaz, the rune of chaos. Although Hagalaz indicates a substantial amount of chaos within our future, it also reminds us that order can only be born from chaos, for it has no origin without it. Being open and accepting to the chaotic energy of the future prepares us to creating the necessary plans that we may remain in some resemblance of order as the chaos ushers in new changes within our lives. Inner harmony is established by maintaining our intrinsic order. To understand what influences we should retain, we have drawn the rune, Nauthiz, the rune of action. Nauthiz indicates that we must maintain the willingness and ability to apply action steps to our future, never forgoing the necessity of our commitment to the processes that manifest our ever-changing reality. It also recognizes the idea that there will be resistance, and that we must maintain the constant thrust to achieve that which we desire. You are your best ally to complete this next step of your journey.

Rune Reading for Woden's Day - 21 May 2025
|
|
|
|
To reveal the influences of our past, we have drawn the rune of Uruz, the rune of manifesting. Our past is what we rely on to make the decisions as to our future; therefore, it is increasingly important we absorb the lessons contained within our past to move forward along the correct path for us. Our past provides for us the foundation for the understandings that we have accomplished, to provide a pragmatic knowledge that will carry us through. Our present influence is that of Laguz, and today, in our present, if offers us cautions. While our past may have been consumed with lessons in which the lesson seemed to be an understanding of fear, the true lesson here is that we alone carry the authority in which to dictate how we feel, and what we think. We are the sole beneficiaries to those lessons of the past, and can apply them where we see they fit. To further reveal our future influences, we have drawn the rune of Inguz, the rune of wholeness. The rune for our future reveals that our chosen trajectory leads to a period of wholeness, and that period will allow us the opportunity to grow spiritually. However, ensuring that we have established our own version of order within the chaos of our past lessons to ensure this wholeness, we must take time to rest our mind and body. Time to heal the wounds. To understand what influences we should retain, we have drawn the rune, Sowilo. Sowilo verifies that the wholeness of the self, both spiritual and physical, will need to be held on to tightly throughout each step of our existence. New experiences will bring new lessons, and we may feel pulled apart sometimes, however, retaining the integrity of what we've accomplished so far will become more critical as we move forward in our lives.

Rune Reading for Tyr's Day - 20 May 2025
|
|
|
|
To reveal the influences of our past, we have drawn the rune of Algiz, the rune of listening. Throughout your past we find a multitude of experiences when you have settled yourself enough to actively listen to information provided by others. You have struggled with this skill, and although may have heard much conveyed, you may not have a full understanding as to the implications that this information has brought you. Our present influence is that of Mannaz, the rune of the rational mind. Mannaz in our present indicates that we may be currently struggling with believing that which cannot be touched. Recognizing that a great portion of our existence is outside the physical realm, before and after this physical lifetime is a much larger understanding than you may have, but remember the universe only provides that which we can handle. To further reveal our future influences, we have drawn the rune of Kenaz, the rune of humility. Our journey within this physical lifetime is but just beginning, regardless how much time has passed. Understanding that we will constantly be in a state of learning, and that mastery will never fully manifest itself, as we should always be seeking to learn. Kenaz represents the arrival of new information, potentially complimenting what you have gained already. To understand what influences we should retain, we have drawn the rune, Thurisaz. Thurisaz reveals the necessity of enthusiasm within our physical lifetime, a zest for life's experiences. To be constrained to the safety of the sidelines is to miss the emotional journey we will engage upon to fully realize our greatest gift to existence, feelings. Feelings truly represent a different perspective that the cosmos waits for you to provide.

Rune Reading for Mani's Day - 19 May 2025
|
|
|
|
To reveal the influences of our past, we have drawn the rune of Jera. Jera represents the cyclic repeating of lessons and/or functions of the physical realm. It is meant to remind us that exhale follows the inhale, and that summer always follows winter. It is the balance of those experiences we have on this realm with the emotional states that follow, all part of the never-ending cycle of our existence. Remember, when life is at its darkest, the dawn is soon to arrive. Our present influence is that of Wunjo. Wunjo represents the wishful thinking, and our ability to maintain the energy of hope, even when things seem to be overwhelming in the other direction. We do control our intrinsic narrative, and can choose to succumb to the negatives of existence, or to change our trajectory to that of harmony, joy and happiness. No one else can take that which you refuse to give. Hold on to hope. To further reveal our future influences, we have drawn the rune of Hagalaz, the rune of chaos. Our future is not written yet, we have the opportunity to alter our trajectory in any way we desire. Hagalaz represents the establishment of order within the chaos which is our physical existence. We alone control our destiny and our path toward that destination. Our future position here shows that we are indeed taking the reins to control the direction of our lives. To understand what influences we should retain, we have drawn the rune, Laguz, and today it reminds us of cautions. While the rune reveals much about toxicity and poison, it is our caution to avoid these pitfalls along our path. Laguz, today, reminds us again, that we are in charge of how we feel, thereby dictating what we experience in this reality. Remember, we can choose to see whatever future we wish to see. Stay strong in yourself.
