Proudly serves his communities (both online and off) as both: a counselor for individuals suffering from debilitating psychological trauma, as well as an active, working Celtic-Norse Shaman. His beliefs are that the health of the spiritual self dictates the physical and mental health of the physical self. He comes from a very long line of Germanic Danes from Northern Denmark (Bjereby Sogn), as well as 12 generations from Southern Ireland (Co. Waterford). After extensive studies in religious practices throughout the world, he has arrived at his Celtic/Norse roots. He has come to understand the relationships between the spiritual and physical planes of existence, and constantly work to help individuals understand their position in that relationship.

This period has seen a rise in individuals interested in developing their own sense of spirituality. This Month's Rune - Kenaz (pronounced Key-nahz)
|
Its psychological meaning is humility, cognitive faculties, clarity of thought, and observation. Its energy is illumination, teaching-learning dynamic, transformation, and controlled energy.
|
|
Kenaz represents that ability within each of us to form conscious thoughts without the necessity of being told what to think. Kenaz goes against the millennia of "conform or die" programming that instituted fear as a method of controlling the masses. This institution of weaponizing beliefs has formed psychological boundaries that many modern people are not aware of within their own mind. The idea of "right and wrong" are completely dependent on these earlier formed definitions forced upon a unknowing population.

All of us are here on the physical plane of this existence we call life, to learn emotional control that we may ascend to the understanding of pure empathy, so as to join our ancestors when we pass from this existence. To fully embrace this life, we must open our heart to fully experience the emotional life we choose.

- Shaman, I am now over one hundred years old and have been a Christian my whole life. I have never known any other belief. As I near my end of life the belief I've had in my faith doesn't seem as fool-proof as I thought it was before. Am I confused? My dearest friend, you are not confused, however, it would seem that you are beginning to think outside of the box that has been defined for you by the century of rote practice. Many of us fear thinking about other possibilities as we have been taught that it leads to evil, or dark places, which can be no further from the truth. I have always used the analogy of the puddle when explaining this. As we have been taught to gaze at the puddle, we are taught at the same time, to not allow any other gazing upon the puddle from any other position around this puddle. Only looking at the puddle in the one way, while forcing everyone else to look at it the same way is the only way to "salvation". In other words, we look more carefully at a cereal box for breakfast that we do our path to our eternal existence. Be willing to see your spiritual associations around you and allow them to guide you. Listen with your heart and the path will be revealed to you. It would seem to me as you near the end of your physical existence, your mind and spirit are already transitioning to the spiritual realm where you will relocate to. Do not fear it, for it has happened trillions of times and your memories will be eternally saved in the spiritual core of who you are.

Spiritual beliefs are thoughts and feelings that provide us with congruence between the heart and mind. This allows us to become complete as we obtain balance between thought and emotions. By maintaining a sense of love and peace within our minds, we are capable of connecting and transmitting spiritual energy for healing, as well as gaining knowledge and wisdom.
