Rune Reading for Mani’s Day – 2 June 2025

As we seek to understand the influences that we have experienced, as well as the experiences we’ve yet to have, we search for an answer as to what force we must keep in reserve to help us on our path toward our destiny. To visualize these influences and counter-energies, we will call upon the layout of the “four winds” that we may learn of our adversaries and allies in our mental battle for safety.
Past Influences (top center)
Algiz- “It could mean protection, higher life, awakenings, or connection to the gods.”
Present Influences (lower center)
Isa – “It could mean the unity of being, self-control, ego-consciousness, or concentrated self.”
Future Influences (to the left)
Wunjo – “It could mean prosperity, accomplishment, fellowship, harmony, or joy.”
Bedrock (things to remain) (to the right)
Hagalaz – “It could mean an inner harmony, completion, corrections, controlled crisis, changes for the long-term good, change according to ideals.”

Dagen’s Indsigt
Each morning, I engage in conversation with my gods. During which they offer me wisdom and guidance, and in return I offer them myself that they may do with that which they need to. I have felt the gods manage my experiences throughout the years, and especially over the last several decades, engaging me in a multitude of ways. Today, I offer to you that which was told to me by the gods in this morning’s talks. However, as I offer you the wisdom given to me, I encourage you to seek the answers within yourself, as each of us travels a different path, therefore our perspectives are a little different. 
To reveal the influences of our past, we have drawn the rune of Algiz, the rune of listening. Today Algiz reminds us of the time in our previous experiences where we listened. Although the sensory input of audio is a very powerful one, we must remember that it could also have encouraged our imagination, so having more than one sensory input to validate an experience is better than not. Being sure that we are truly listening and not just waiting for the other to finish, so we may speak is truly an art. We are reminded that listening with our whole being is a great way to build intellect and wisdom within the mind.
Our present influence is that of Isa, the rune of ice. Isa within our present influence reminds us of our self-identity. The rune offers us an understanding of the importance of establishing our self-worth through intrinsic reflection and management. Our intrinsic values have been initially placed by others within our existence that we have given a level of authority to. This does not mean that we are forever bound to their values, for if we discover a new path in our lives, we are not required to maintain the current views on the new path. Be courageous enough to change if that is what you truly want. 
To further reveal our future influences, we have drawn the rune of Wunjo, the rune of optimism. Wunjo brings a gift from our future self, an understanding that the energy of hope can move us from where we are today to where we want to be. By engaging our friends around us, we are more than capable of achieving joy and harmony within our existence. Laughing is indeed the best medicine, and including others in that laughter spreads the energy of hope. Which, when returned to you, has been multiplied exponentially.  
To understand what influences we should retain, we have drawn the rune, Hagalaz, the rune of chaos. Not as much chaos itself, as it is the recognition of chaos as a state. By preparing ourselves to establish order within the chaos of our future, we are preparing ourself ahead of time. This preparation will go a long way in avoiding certain experiences within our life to ensure that mental control is maintained. The ability to recognize a potentiality of chaos entering into our energy field opens the reality of controlling this chaos and minimizing the negative effect associated with the natural chaos of life.
