As we seek to understand the influences that we have experienced, as well as the experiences we’ve yet to have, we search for an answer as to what force we must keep in reserve to help us on our path toward our destiny. To visualize these influences and counter-energies, we will call upon the layout of the “four winds” that we may learn of our adversaries and allies in our mental battle for safety.

Dagen’s Indsigt

Each morning, I engage in conversation with my gods. During which they offer me wisdom and guidance, and in return I offer them myself that they may do with that which they need to. I have felt the gods manage my experiences throughout the years, and especially over the last several decades, engaging me in a multitude of ways. Today, I offer to you that which was told to me by the gods in this morning’s talks. However, as I offer you the wisdom given to me, I encourage you to seek the answers within yourself, as each of us travels a different path, therefore our perspectives are a little different. 

To reveal the influences of our past, we have drawn the rune of Dagaz, the rune of enlightenment. It would seem that the runes today are informing us of achieving a level of enlightenment in our past, maybe a paradigm shift within our perspective. This may signify that we have begun our understanding of the interactivity between our physical lives and our spiritual lives. Obtaining the use of the energy of hope.

Our present influence is that of Ehwaz, the rune of trust. In our present state the rune Ehwaz issues us cautions about extending our trust too far outside our direct control. While there are many who are very excited about your journey, there are an equal amount who may desire altering our paths for their own gains. Be careful where we extend our trust to, as all those may not have our best intention in their minds.  

To further reveal our future influences, we have drawn the rune of Laguz, the rune of love and dreaming. With this rune in the future position of our trajectory, this would indicate that there are many unfocused on mental processes engaging with the experiences that we are having. Noting the moment-by-moment state of our emotions will offer us the best opportunity to manage them, and control our interpretation of our reality.

To understand what influences we should retain, we have drawn the rune, Uruz, the rune of manifestation. As we move forward along our trajectory in this physical life, we must always remember that although our physical forms maybe controlled by extrinsic forces, our mental processes are strictly our own. Soon the physical form will follow suit to whatever thought process we have, manifest within the mind, that which you desire.

Today our cast runes indicate that we are indeed in charge of what we think, and that the physical form will follow whatever we are thinking. Be sure to think positively those happy thoughts, and soon the physical form will align itself to that process.
