Rune Reading for Tuesday – 15 April 2025

As we seek to understand the influences that we have experienced, as well as the experiences we’ve yet to have, we search for an answer as to what force we must keep in reserve to help us on our path toward our destiny. To visualize these influences and counter-energies, we will call upon the layout of the “four winds” that we may learn of our adversaries and allies in our mental battle for safety.
Dagen’s Indsigt

Past Influences
Ehwaz – “It could mean friends, loyalty, marriage, trust, teamwork, and harmony.”
Present Influences
Isa – “It could mean the unity of being, self-control, ego-consciousness, or concentrated self.”
Future Influences
Hagalaz – “It could mean an inner harmony, completion, corrections, controlled crisis, changes for the long-term good, change according to ideals.”
Bedrock (things to remain)
Wunjo – “It could mean prosperity, accomplishment, fellowship, harmony, or joy.”

Each morning, I engage in prayer, or communion with my gods. Each day they offer me wisdom and knowledge, and in return I offer them myself that they may do with me that which they need to. I have felt the gods manage my engagements throughout the years, and especially lately, engaging me in a multitude of ways. Today, I offer to you that which was told to me by the gods in this morning’s prayers.

To reveal the influences of our past, we have drawn the rune of Ehwaz. As Ehwaz reveals itself in understanding the effect that our past has on our current situation and thought process, we quickly realize that its in an upright position indicating that it is identifying the needed qualities of life. Primarily it tells of the necessity of trust. Trust, not only between two people such as friends, life partner, and teamwork, but trust of the self to establish the harmony within oneself.

Our present influence is that of Isa, the rune of Ice. Although the rune of ice would indicate a stagnation or temporary paralyzation, it also means that of self-image, for it is easy to see our reflection in ice. This reflection affords us the opportunity to bring the two sides of the self together in a necessary way to obtain a better mental health. Bringing our two parts together in cooperation affords us to move forward, and think in a more perfected balance between the heart and mind.

To further reveal our future influences, we have drawn the rune of Hagalaz. With Hagalaz in our future position, this would indicate that the chaos of life will continue well into our future and we must be able and willing to control our response to these events. Hagalaz speaks to the identification of those inner traits that can maintain our mental space through. Traits like the inner harmony, controlling the crisis, changes for the long-term good. While it may signify chaos, our response to this chaos is what will make us stronger.

To understand what influences we should retain, we have drawn the rune Wunjo. In today’s understanding we find the drawing of Wunjo in an upright position would indicate our ability to dream the big dreams necessary to foster our forward trajectory. This rune reminds us that we are well on our way to the success that we truly want, while reminding us that we need to keep our dreams out in front bringing our reality along behind them. Do not fear the big dreams, for they provide the focus to generate the energy stream of hope.
