The courage of Tyr

The courage of Tyr! Alaska Úlfhé∂nar is live! Transcribed from the morning show.
Good morning and happy Tyr’s day to you. I hope that yesterday was a day that we just absorbed our experiences in life, and we’re so thankful. Like today, Today here in south central Alaska it is, Mother Yord of course taking a shower. Wonderful rain. Allowing all of my plant friends and, existences around me to bathe in that water.
Today we celebrate the god Tyr. Now for those of you who are not familiar with Norse lore and legend, Tyr of course being one of the old Norse gods old Norse gods was among many other things. He was kind of the god of justice, and he kind of looked after the law, and he kind of helped, lay things in place, but he was also the God of courage, and this is very important. He was courageous. Now as I’ve mentioned before and for those of you who are new to our show here, Tyr was the one who was volunteered to put his hand in Fenrir’s mouth, that Fenrir would be chained, that he would allow this chain to be placed on him if 1 of the Æsir gods would put his hand in his mouth and of course Tyr volunteered, of which Fenrir of course bit off. Right?
So Fenrir, of course, being, one of the children of Loki, and quite honestly a giant wolf, who will ultimately reign havoc, during the days of Ragnarök. But Tyr represents courage, and he represents the courage in each of us that we may have courage to be ourselves, to embrace that which is able to function in the face of fear. Now for those of you who, think that courage is the absence of fear, do you know Courage is the acknowledgment of fears yet the ability to power forward to move forward with our lives.
So Tyr represents courage. The courage sometimes courage means that we are willing and able to stand alone. For, my friends, it is better to be alone than to be with toxic people, and to actually accept that influence of negative energy. So it’s better sometimes that we are alone, and we are able and willing to stand alone in lieu of surrounding ourselves with toxic people. Toxic people, the negative influence for those of you who are new, negativity and the negative energy, begins a cycle within us, and that cycle grows. Right? And it will continue to convert positive or neutral energy over to a negative energy and it’ll build and build and build this is why when we are in traffic on, you know, on our way to work as an example and, we have a moment of road rage, That moment for us many times leads to us kind of stewing on it, kind of rethinking it, rehashing it, thinking about it all the way to work. And by the time we get to work, we’re darn right angry. Right? Because this one person, cut us off in traffic or something, and that is this negative cycle beginning. Now the negativity kind of does a little spin cycle with inside of us, and it’s rubbing on, other energies, that were within us, whether those be neutral from the universe, wherever we’re drawing them from, or whether they be positive and light energy from, from the universe. Whichever the case, as this negative energy rubs against it, it’s converting it. It’s so it takes it from a positive or a light energy down to a neutral, and then from a neutral, it takes it to a negative energy. And negative energy, once it converts it to negative energy, it’s just building the negative energy inside of us. And so by the time we get, you know, an hour, 2 hours later down our day, we have this ball of anger or sadness or whatever, and it’s not going to be very productive for us at all.
So it really doesn’t produce any value to our emotional growth. So Tyr represents this idea of standing alone, of being willing and able, appear being willing and able to stand alone, to stand away from those toxic people, to stand away from those negative influences, negative energy, stay away from all of that, and actually go forward with a happy heart and an open mind and just seeking out those things that are good, happy, healthy, harmonious, comforted, all of those things that we want in our lives. So the good news is we each have a choice. When we’re driving or we’re doing our day and we’re going about our morning routine or even our daily routine now for many, we have a choice whether to allow this negative energy to influence us or to discard it, to walk away, to turn away, and to not allow that negative energy into our lives and continue to have a happy heart. And we have that choice, and we can make that choice every present. To Listen to the entire show, visit our channel at https://youtube.com/live/2YZmgeILG-A?feature=share
