Past Influences
Uruz- “Its energy is organic structuring, manifestation, endurance, healing, survival, raw primal power, archetypal patterning, and vital formative force. When it appears in a divination reading, it could mean understanding, pragmatic knowledge, health, luck, pattern, tenacity, vitality, constancy, and strength.
Present Influences
Ihwaz- “The psychological meaning is kundalini, the timeless, and death mysteries. Its energy is the chakra system, immortality, encoding, secrecy, and an axis of heaven-earth-hell. If Ihwaz appears in divination, it could mean protection, initiation, endurance, and movement toward enlightenment
Future Influences
Laguz (Inverted) – “Its psychological meaning is wholeness, inner-child, power of suggestion, personal development, and internal growth. Its energy is planned bursts, subtlety, male mysteries, gestation process, stored energy, and earth-god. When it appears in divination, it means time for oneself, expectation, internal growth, gestation, or resting. When reversed, it means immaturity, frivolity, movement without change, scattering, or impotence.
Bedrock (things to remain)
Raidho- “The psychological meaning is self-mastery, freedom from imprisonment, and the story “form” in the psyche. Its energy is presence, rhythm, and cosmic cyclical law. When it appears in divination, it means journey, ordered growth, justice, action, sound advice, or rationality

To reveal the influences of our past, we have drawn the rune of Uruz, this rune recognizes the wild bovine. Currently this rune is in an upright position further indicating a positive condition exists within our mental space. The intellect received about out past indicates that we have been structuring our mind and the thought processes therein. Uruz suggests that our past has been spent, in part, taming the raw primal power of our existence into a structured organization within our collection of knowledges from all of our experiences. It would seem that Uruz is demonstrating that we have gained a substantial amount of understanding and pragmatic knowledge regarding our future trajectory. 
 
Our present influence is that of Ihwaz, and it is in an indeterminate position, Ihwaz cannot present itself in any other manner. The presence of Ihwaz in our present position demonstrates that we have reached the level of understanding where we are beginning to question what is outside the boundaries of what we currently know. Topics like the mystery of death, and the kundalini, or the dormant energy that can be awakened and retrieved. Ihwaz also brings an understanding that a substantial part of knowing these things is the crossing over between what is know, and what can be experienced. Meditation is a necessary part of our present, as it is through the lens of meditation can we manifest the correct structure for the experiences that we are having.
 
To reveal our future influences, we have drawn the rune of Laguz and it is in an inverted position indicating some caution should be observed. Laguz brings the intellect of wholeness, inner-child, personal development, and internal growth. The runes are revealing that some of our future should be spent in contemplation as to what experiences bring value to our intrinsic wisdom, and which ones do not. Laguz in an inverted state is cautioning us to spend time in deep meditation as to further develop our expectations, essentially using our gestation to further establish the boundaries of our energy streams, and the defensive mechanisms needed to shield against the negative energy of others.
 
To understand what influences we should retain, we have drawn the rune Raidho in an upright position which suggests that we have some very powerful understandings that will continue to assist in our growth, that need to be maintained. Raidho indicates self-mastery, and freedom from being imprisoned by unwanted thoughts and beliefs. Many have said that Raidho represents the “From” in the story within our psyche, and that it is the first step in a much larger journey. However, Raidho represents the order within our growth, and calls for justice, sound advice, and rationality. To maintain this state we must deeply contemplate what we currently know, and believe, to properly structure incoming knowledge and experiences. 
 
The runes this week speak of a “knowing”. They indicate that we have the mastery within our mind, and now must continue to exert control over our thought process and the emotions associated with the experiences of this physical lifetime. While our journey has allowed us to properly structure our thought process and thinking, we will need to consider this throughout our future as the negative influences will continue to attempt to break us, or manipulate us in unwanted directions. According to the runes this week, we know how to control our emotional state, and may even understand the implications of that effort. Our runes are telling us to keep this going, do not allow those influences to thwart that effort.
