Ihwaz- “The psychological meaning is kundalini, the timeless, and death mysteries. Its energy is the chakra system, immortality, encoding, secrecy, and an axis of heaven-earth-hell. If Ihwaz appears in divination, it could mean protection, initiation, endurance, and movement toward enlightenment.”
Present Influences
Gebo – “The psychological aspects are appreciation, forgiveness, and gratitude. Its energy is the dissolution of barriers through gifting, sacrifice, and exchanged powers. When it appears in divination, it could mean divine vision, sacrifice, honor, magical exchange, gift, and generosity
Future Influences
“Odinn’s Rune” – “It could mean the unity of being, self-control, ego-consciousness, or concentrated self.”

Othala (Inverted) – “Its psychological meaning is ancestral spiritual power. Its energy is a utopia, paradise, the gift of Ing, heaven on earth, and inheritance. In divination, it means productive interaction, freedom, group order, group prosperity, or home. When reversed, it means genocide, racism, xenophobia, homelessness, poverty, slavery, totalitarianism, or lack of customary order

Each morning, I engage in prayer, or communion with my gods. Each day they offer me wisdom and knowledge, and in return I offer them myself that they may do with me that which they need to. I have felt the gods manage my engagements throughout the years, and especially lately, engaging me in a multitude of ways. Today, I offer to you that which was told to me by the gods.
To reveal the influences of our past, we have drawn the rune of Ihwaz, typically because of its indeterminate state brings a certain level of ambiguity to our existence. However, due to this rune representing our past, this indicates that we have begun a journey toward our enlightenment. Using the power of the Kundalini (or divine feminine) as the driver behind our quest for knowledge, we have begun an earnest journey toward understanding our lives at a much deeper level.
 
Our present influence is that of Gebo which is indicative of an appreciative heart. Again, like the rune of our past, today Gebo, because of its indeterminate state draws with it a level of unknown and dark energy. The rune of Gebo indicates that we are experiencing visions and understanding of divine knowledge through the gifts and generosity of the gods, or our ancestors. Maintaining an aura of forgiveness towards those in our lives whom we feel need such assistance, while retaining our gratitude for the enlightened wisdom and guidance from the spiritual realm in an effort to retain our forward momentum.
 
To reveal our future influences, we have drawn “Odinn’s Rune”, or the rune of the unknown. I have prayed to Odinn this morning in an effort to better understand our future path. Odinn has spoken to me and given me the knowledge that our future path is not yet chosen, We stand at the crossroads between many similar paths that may all seem to provide a beautiful view as we journey them. However, the decision is within our own mind as to which path we decide to engage upon. Each offers different experiences that will educate and enlighten us, as well as each possessing those emotional pitfalls that will challenge what we believe, and what we fully understand. Ultimately, the choice is ours, and ours alone, to make. 
 
To understand what influences we should retain, we have drawn the rune, Othala. Today the rune occurs in our reading in an inverted position indicating that we should exercise some level of caution as we proceed on our trajectory of life. Othala is typically the conduit to the ancestors within the spiritual world that offers us the wisdom and knowledge gathered there. Today’s reading seems to remind us that we must retain those memories of homelessness, poverty, slavery, and totalism so as to not allow them to permeate our thought process, or allow them to be repeated. Learning from our past the lessons offered thereby gives us the control necessary to avoid a repeating. 
Today’s Affirmation
Today’s runes indicate that we have begun a journey of understanding. Connecting us to the ancestors and gods within the spiritual realm, we have been given a great understanding at which to benefit our lives as well as our descendants. We must remember to offer gratitude for this gift, and seek harmony with others by offering forgiveness if it is sought, for harboring ill will affects our mental health not the perpetrator themselves. We have drawn Odinn’s rune as our future influence, and Odinn has said that our future path relies solely on our perspective and how we see trailheads to each journey, for we know the journey that we have accomplished so far. The runes go on to tell us to remember the past as it will be these lessons that may dictate the perspective of which path within our lives to take.
