Future Influential Energies Uruz – (Inverted) – Brutality, insensitivity, ignorance, sickness, obsession.

Energies to Remain the same Sowilo – Faith in outcomes, life purpose, honor, success, hope.

As the runes point out for us today, our past experiences may have led us to a form of intellectual arrogance, or elitism, as we have absorbed much knowledge and wisdom from this plane of existence.

The rune Inguz, which cannot be inverted here, speaks about remembering the value of self-care and healing. Our influences will include time for internal growth, and gestation. Simply taking time to ensure we are being our authentic selves and completely honest with ourselves.

The rune Uruz is a powerful one, and with it displaying our future influences, we need to exercise caution, as the world around us may attempt to lead us to a place of brutality and violence. Not becoming obsessed with answers, for as we know, many times new answers will bring more questions, but the answers will most often come when we are not focusing.

In the category of “things to remain the same” about our current path, the rune Sowilo is the perfect rune to have here. It shows us that by keeping the ideas of hope, and honor, deep in our hearts, the faith in outcomes should come naturally, by remembering our life’s purpose we will achieve success in our endeavors.
