Hello my friends, today as I pondered some additional tinctures to construct from several friends who are looking to generate the energy, they need for healing themselves, the idea of energy presented itself to me. I sat in contemplation about this question for some time today.
Healing requires that we focus our energy on the injury to produce a solution for that issue, and medicines have always given us the ability to focus on getting some form of relief. As I pondered this, I thought about other friends around me who relied on the focal points provided by the medical community through the use of some prescription medicine. We (general population) assume that with all the years in medical school, that those instructions would have included the very detailed understanding of the substances involved in the medicine, and their counter-reaction to other medicines. However, not once did the medical community consider the energy we all have within us to heal ourselves.
As many of you know, recently (September 5th, 2024) I underwent spinal surgery for a long-time issue with my back. During this surgery, it was discovered that my body had “healed” a ruptured disc between my vertebrae by calcifying it. This, in conjunction with an overload of calcium deposits on my spinal cord, led to the two masses coming together to begin crushing my spinal cord. With my ancestors watching over me, I entered the surgery with the understanding that it would be weeks, if not months, before I would truly recognize any relief from the symptoms, I had experienced. During the surgery I refused to have any narcotics and/or opioids of any kind. Following a five-hour surgery I remember the return to life as I began to channel my ancestor’s energy into the, then, healing tissues within my back.
Within a day of completing the surgery I was walking again, and for the first time in many years, I could feel the power returning to my legs. The many different symptoms seemed to be erased as I began to move around my room, then the hallway, then the whole floor of the hospital. Each hour I focused on my ancestors and trusted that they would be there to support my directing my own energy to those tissues involved in the fix. Almost immediately I began to deny the medicines offered by medical community as I focused all of my energy on the area and would immediately begin to research natural remedies from my apothecary.
The discovery was that the true success of my natural remedies versus the medical community’s suggestion was that, in my heart, I had absolute faith in the tinctures and teas that I had made, versus depending on the medicine in which those who offered it were not aware of. Now, no disrespect meant to any within the medical community, as I adored the staff who cared for me during my stay in the facility, especially the Neurosurgeon who performed the procedure. But ultimately had I had no faith in my surgeon, the procedure would have failed to achieve the objective. It was my intent, or belief, that energized the solution to bring healing to an otherwise potentially dangerous situation.
It is our belief in the magic, or medicine, that is what makes it work, or not. It is this same belief in ourselves that will power our greatness.
