  • Time Away

Regrettably, the Shaman will be stepping away from the microphone for a break between recording seasons. With so many engagements and other obligations the Shaman no longer has the opportunity to sit down with us weekly, so we are no longer recording weekly sessions. However, the shows already recorded will remain online, so you can continue to listen to recordings you may have missed. Please stay tuned to our website where we will announce the return of the Shaman when his obligations return to normal. Thank you so much for being a part of our movement toward enlightenment. The Alaska Úlfhé∂nar team

  • Skáldskapr: My Celtic journey to center.

While I may have discussed many different topics, one may wonder where is my pedigree for becoming a Celtic Shaman. Why aren’t I a Druid instead of a Shaman? Why do I feel as if I am a Shaman, particularly given that the religious figures associated with the Celtic culture? While some of my wisdom has been gathered from experiencing many different events in my life, much of what I now know has been given to me through a spiritual connection, or channeling spiritual entities. Unlike some I’ve spoken to over the years, I have practiced my channeling skills to the point where I now have simple conversations with my ancestors, and other spiritual entities. Sometimes I receive connections from you, the listeners, as I seek aura connections during meditation and trance work. I have been given the role of the Shaman, not by physical mortals, but by the infinite beings of energy I call my deities. These deities have determined that because I have developed the skills of traveling in both: the world of the physical, and the world of spiritual energy. This ability is what allows me to communicate the wisdom and knowledge from the spiritual realm, to help other physical beings experience the joy and harmony that they were designed to have.My journey here. My journey began many moons ago, when I was a child. I was introduced to the cosmic energies of the universe as my mother studied the ways of the “New Age” and I tagged along to read the books and listen to the teachings. This doctrine spoke more openly about a universal energy that could be tapped into, it pointed to the usages by sea mammals, particularly whales and dolphins. How not only did they use this energy to remain in spiritual balance, but would guide them along their migratory routes. This was my true introduction into the world of spirituality, stepping away from the boxed ideas and doctrine of modern, organized religions. However, at that point of my life I needed structure, there was too much vastness for my child’s mind to understand and fully process. As I’ve learned now, they simply applied other labels to the energy focused, by no means was this time wasted, as it began larger and larger thoughts of what the energy really was.Through my journey of life’s experiences, I have met with death, first-hand. Following my last near death experience in 1989, I found myself able to see the world differently. No longer seeing a dark, dingy existence, but a world of light and emotional connections, able to see animals, trees, grasses, and mountains for what they really are, fellow life forms. The daylight, the moonlight, clouds, even the wind took a new perspective as I found I could see their auras. This was quite exhilarating, yet incredibly confusing at the same time. While I could see their light, it took many years before I understood what the light was and how I needed to interact with it.Throughout my lifetime, I have received many different calls from my spiritual side, constantly challenging what I think I knew at the time. Much of my beliefs would be interrupted by my ego seeking some form of power, yet it wasn’t until I arrived at my ancestral, indigenous roots that I realized the ego’s influence on my quest. However, each of these ideologies would challenge what I believed as they challenged different portions of my intrinsic congruency. New Age. This doctrine was the first real study I had as I tried to understand the energies, and the power of the crystals. My young mind struggled with the quantum physics involved. Looking back now, these studies laid the groundwork for what the Landvætti have taught me about the transfer of energy from the spiritual realm to the physical form, and therefore our physical existence. Agnostic. It was during this portion of my life that I sought to power myself through the trials and tribulations of modern day life. As I’ve now been educated, the only person I was really tricking, was myself. The spirits continued to infuse me with knowledge and energy necessary for healing. Christianity. It was here that I found some truth in separating the practice from the theism behind it. I began to question the statements of faith, and challenged the core beliefs of this doctrine. After reviewing several different ideologies I discovered that there were some substantial gaps in what was assumed, versus what is known. Too many things I was told to just have “faith”, which reminded me too much of the Wizard behind the curtain in wizard of oz. The Nation of Islam. I studied greatly this practice, and discovered that it was more about vengeance and revenge, than it was about serving their idea of a deity. While the representation of a worship was sound, the more I learned, the more I saw a practice instead of the theism I was searching for. Sikh. While I deeply studied this theism, I never went too deep as it seems that the main ideology behind it was “not muslim”, which would indicate that although the doctrine seemed very different, it was more of a conservative muslim study without as much of the defined practice. Mongolian Shamanism. This is really where my personal spirituality took flight. As I studied under a senior Shaman of Mongolia, I was able to obtain skills of spiritual understanding that I never knew I had. The beauty of opening one’s eyes to all the potential this plane has to offer, was truly awe-inspiring. As I completed lesson after lesson under the watchful guidance of an incredible gift to the human race, he helped me to translate my visions and understandings to arrive at where I truly belonged at my most inner most core. Norse. I am a Dane, from a very long line of Danes. I have the Norse blood pumping through my veins all the time. I realized during […]

  • Skáldskapr: Seeking the meaning of Life.

While this week’s episode may sound very close to the stereotypical guru atop the mountain peak offering words of wisdom, it is truly the very core of our function here on the physical plane of existence. Seeking the meaning of life. Many have asked about what is the true meaning of life, and as I’ve been taught, the true meaning of life is contentment. Not wealth, not power, not religion, and certainly not politics, and believe it or not, it is not even happiness. While there are as many ways for each of us to find contentment, it can be fleeting, or an overarching source of true lifelong intrinsic definition of true success.

  • Skáldskapr: The experience of eternity after physical death.

Most physical beings throughout the history who have put any thought to it, have wondered what happens to our consciousnesses when our physical sensory input stops and the physical body ceases to function anymore. What really happens when the bio-electricity generated and managed by our physical body stops inputting information into our brain? Many have come to me fearful of death, and I have met many who are fighting tooth and nail to retain their physical body, fearful of succumbing to their physical death , sometimes enduring endless pain and suffering. The aged old questions about what we can expect to experience when we let out our last breath has plagued humankind for as long as we have had cognitive thought. Many people have come to me and inquired as to whether they should be afraid of death, or not. Humankind has been afraid of the unknown powers of the universe for as long as they have had cognitive thinking processes. Some have been programmed by years of religious practices that have taught them to fear death because of this unknown. However, I am here to tell you that there is no unknown. Death, is just the passing of the physical body leaving then the spiritual consciousness to then explore its next phase of existence. Remembering that the spiritual realm isn’t bound by the laws of time and space means, many, many, questions could be answered as we slip our earthly bonds. All of those things attached to our biological body are then left behind, typically this includes pain and suffering as the physical body has been shutting down. Much like all other life forms, in many cases, we have a rebirth in to the next phase of our lives which, is our spiritual existence.

  • Skáldskapr: Our intimacy with the Spiritual Realm.

Humans do not seem to have as many struggles with their physical relationships as they do with their spiritual ones. We (the human race) have a much easier time interpreting our visual, combined with our audible input, as to better understanding our physical relationships than we do with interacting with a spiritual force that gave us life. Regardless as to whether you believe in evolution, or one of the many creation stories documented throughout the previous millennia, I believe we can all agree that there was a process that begat modern day humans. Whether it’s Embla and Ask, Adam and Eve, or Dick and Jane, they did not have the technological minds that modern day humans current use. But, they did possess the foundations of the mind processing capability to get here from there. In much the same way, I believe that the anatomical modern humans that migrated out of Africa about 200 thousand years ago possessed the capability to get from there to here.

  • Skáldskapr: The corruption of religion.

There once was a time, way back in history, long before the Jewish peoples of the Middle East began the practice, and control of their peoples understanding of the mysterious forces of the world, there were men and women who interacted directly with the spirits. They recognized the balance maintained by these spiritual forces throughout all of existence. Today, I’d like to take a minute to express my understanding of the practice around monotheism took a darker, more sinister path. Now, before one gets upset, I understand the recognition of a singular deity figure. I get it. However, knowing what you think you know about your deity, don’t you think it might be a little arrogant to think he/she/they have only one presence? Could the same deity be viewed from any other angle, maybe in another form, or even in a different way all together?

  • Skáldskapr: The value of Culture in Spirituality.

Today, I’d like to discuss the influence the regional culture would have played in the development of spiritual beliefs throughout the early days of those beliefs. When considering the later development of language, and much later of the written word, we must consider that the earliest conveyance of spiritual ideas would have been very simplistic, and they would have had a very isolated experience base. Parents would have passed this understanding on to their offspring in very simplistic terms, most likely orally, and those ideas would have been expanded on as we move down the evolutionary path.

  • Skáldskapr: The Quantum Science of Prayer.

Many of those who would condemn my teachings have come to me and complained about my beliefs in the mystical world of magic, typically associating it with “evil”, or dark forces. Honestly, there is absolutely no difference between my understandings of magic, and that of the modern day prayer.  To this point, some early transcripts have been recovered that demonstrate the early church’s adaptation of many of the local customs within the areas they invaded. Today, I’d like to look at the power of prayer, or more importantly, the spiritual energy that moves prayers and spells from incantation to manifestation in the physical realm. But, I don’t want us to waste our time looking at these spiritual process through the glasses of modern day religion, but instead, look at this phenomenon from a quantum scientific level. While the many different discussions I have had with different people have led me to believe that the allegations I have made about the “brainwashing caused by the modern monotheistic practices” is accurate, I truly believe it is a matter of those individual demanded ignorance, and ultimately has come down to different perspectives of the same understandings.

  • Skáldskapr: Belief in the Self.

Published May 1st, 2022 In my everyday practice of helping others to obtain their freedom from their psychological trauma, this lack of self belief seems to be an overwhelming focal point. Many throughout the years who have allowed for the deterioration of their intrinsic confidence, which then becomes a definite hampering in their belief of the self who then have sought me out as being necessary to re-instate their belief in themselves, which is simply a misunderstanding of themselves. Today I’d like to discuss the understandings that I have been given from my spiritual communications that may better help us to understand how to move forward, to restore and maintain our own belief in ourselves. The lack of confidence in one’s ability to accomplish a particular task should never undermine the belief in oneself.
