As evidenced throughout the millennia, the understanding behind (what the early church defined as) paganism has been mishandled and appropriated by the church to mean something totally different than its origins suggest. Pagan comes from the Latin word paganus, meaning villager, rustic, civilian, and the word itself comes from pāgus which refers to a small plot of rural land. It was initially intended to be a demeaning Latin term (like the word hick), that did not have any religious relevance. This same mentality was applied to the word heathen. Heathen, like pagan, is believed to have come from the term for a country inhabitant, or in this case, a “heath dweller.” These early practitioners (labeled heathens and pagans) understood that “we are all part of the same world, with many of the same challenges”. It is this message that we embrace wholeheartedly here at the Alaska Úlfhe∂nar. Being a Celtic Norse means I recognize that the spirit of the Landvætti (Land Spirits) are inclusive of the spirits of other humans (who may or may not be aware of it). In the spirit of coexistence, we offer our friends and fellow spirituality practitioners the opportunity to list their businesses below. If you do find something you are interested in and/or make a purchase from one of the shops, please let them know that AKÚlfhe∂nar sent you.
Wisdom is given to be shared. The Alaska Úlfhé∂nar offers his wisdom through a multitude of channels and hopes that further distribution is possible by our listeners. Feel free to check out the resources throughout this page.

|Alaska Úlfhé∂nar Kvé∂a|
|The Alaska Úlfhé∂nar Kvé∂a is the central location for the invitation to others to join the Úlfhé∂inn in Gal∂r magic. By coming together to bind our energies together, we create an amplified energy that can be absorbed by the listeners and used to encourage growth of our spiritual energies that join us.|
In those early days of antiquity, the practice of magic was embraced everywhere as a form of getting some things completed. One of those forms of magic was the practice of Gal∂r magic. Gal∂r magic primarily worked as supplementary magical energy to the other magic types of the day (Sei∂r, Spacraft). One of the forms of Gal∂r magic was the “gathering” technique. This technique brought together magicians to increase the magical energy to accomplish the incanted spell with more certainty. The Alaska Úlfhé∂nar continues the traditions of Gal∂r magic by bringing together other spiritual practitioners to assist in discovering more wisdom and knowledge for us to better our lives. Below, you can find a collection of other entities who have joined with the Alaska Úlfhé∂nar in this practice to bring you additional perspectives.

Cael the Shaman
Cael is probably one of the most modest people in the field of spirituality in this region. His friends know him as Garland; his music associates know him as Spyder, but he has graduated his personal contributions to helping others through the study of modalities that help to change one’s life. It started many years ago in Trinidad where he was born. His life took an almost fatal turn in a brotherly altercation that left him depressed and nowhere to go, no one to turn to. A chance inspiration with a book on magick lead him to find out that he could achieve emotional stability through Meditation and the study of Energetic Healing formats, but he also discovered that Shamanism has been in his family traceable all the way back to the son of an African (the area now called Benin, in West Africa) Priest that suffered through the Slaving era.
28 years later…he has accomplished being a Reiki Master, Shiatsu Practitioner, Reflexology Practitioner, Group Meditation Specialist, and Shaman and well on the way to publishing his second Self Help book for people new to this field his first – STEP TO THE 6 SENSES is a must-have. Cael is his spiritual name and he enjoys its connection with the many struggles he has endured to get here. Bringing course material, Shaman services, Psychic Services, and Healing modalities, all under one roof is his greatest pleasure and he looks forward to it being well received! It’s finally here, available, untarnished, and real!

Why do I call my online practice Wind and Raven, and what is available on this website?
The name came to me in 2014 when I was in the midst of my life-changing crisis. After working remotely since the early days on online media in 1997, I had kept an open mindset and grew with the emerging presence of the Internet as a dominant form of communication and interaction between people worldwide.

Lois Hollis, RN, BSN, REV shifts our opinion on one of the most forbidden subjects, and it is not sex. She shares her 15 years’ experience as a Shame/Guilt Educator, Counselor, and Filmmaker to give us a short, effective way to health and wellness.
Lois at age 12, entered healthcare as a nurse’s aide. Her desire to understand and heal the body continues today at 76. Depression, anxiety, migraines, and pain were Lois’ way of life until she was asked the perfect question. What do you do about shame? Stunned, she silently went on a mission.
Lois soon came to learn that shame and guilt was within everything she felt. The good news was that she could heal her painful emotions and life-threatening illnesses. The solution was to confront shame and guilt.
She healed from childhood traumas and 30 yrs. of migraine headaches. Today, she shepherds others out of crisis, seeking success, or spiritual growth with her knowledge of how to identify, release, and avoid shame and guilt.
Lois has the uncanny ability for new knowledge. She helped develop one of the first Kidney Hemodialysis Units in the country and other firsts. She authored Soul Mirror Cards, three books, and a video on shame and guilt. Her newest book, “Now is The Time,” contains her Light Language readings that enrich our spiritual development by dissolving resistant mental/emotional patterns. Lois aspires to use the magic of film to make shame and guilt visual. Her film series, “I’m Good,” will illustrate the shame guilt dangers and how to avoid them.
