Life Lesson for Friday 6/16/23

Today I became lost in thought about my ancestors. What would my great grandparents think of the world that I currently called home? How would they act? As I drove back and forth for a scheduled lunch break, I pondered their lives. I thought about their parents, what must have gone through their minds as their child left Denmark bound for the “New World” of the United States. I considered how the consciousness of what was the physical form of my ancestors, now looked across the spiritual realm to my spiritual self, and pondered the way I was living my life. Was I measuring up? Was I paying enough to homage to their gifts to my life? It has become very important to me that I be the descendent that they would be proud of. Maybe that’s a key to life, living to make our ancestors proud. Just the pondering of an old Shaman.
